Imsu Exam Postponement is due to Non Payment of Salaries

Imsu has embarked on strike. Lecturers lament bitterly that they have not recieved there salaries for the past few months, the institution itself is owing arrears which are yet to be cleared. Exams are hence postponed to 22nd october 2012. Will update you guys when the strike gets called-off, stay tuned.

Osun State College of Technology HND SCREENING TESTHOLDS 10TH TO 12TH OCTOBERFOR 2012/2013

The Osun State College of Technology (OSCOTECH), Esa-Oke, has completed preparations for her HND screening test of candidates for admission, which has been scheduled to commence on wednesday, the 10th of October, 2012.

The test is expected to run through Friday, the 12th of October, at the College premises. VNTI OSCOTECH Reveals that the Screening test Fee is as follows: #2000 4for Test, #1,000 for Result Checker.

FUWUKARI Freshers Registration for 2012-2013 now on

Federal University Wukari, Taraba State, after a long period of suspense has kick- off for academic activities. As of the time of this report, I personally have registered in the department of Soil Science and Land Management and lectures will start today from 8am to 6pm without break. Students were advised to register on time as late registration will attract extra N5,000. The school fee for science students is N38,250 only and hostel fee is N25,000.
Students were also told that there will not be cooking in the hostel

KSUSTA to commence 2012/2013 Registration October

Fresh students will start collection of Admission letter on 9/10/2012 from the senate building while registration for fresh students will commence on Monday 15/10/2012 to Friday 26/10/2012. Also returning students will commence their registration on Monday 22/10/2012 to Friday 26/10/2012. Late registration for both fresh/returning student will commence on Monday 29/10/2012 to Friday 2/11/2012 with additional late registration fees of #2,500.00. The Local Organizing Committee of 'Owerri 2012' invites you to the 30th Annual Conference of the Horticultural Society of Nigeria (HORSTON) holding in Owerri, Imo State, THE EASTERN HEARTLAND. The theme for this year's Conference is: Horticulture for Food Security and Environmental Sustainability in a Changing Climate . This has been chosen to address the challenges of food security, environmental improvement among others in the face of changing climate conditions. The Horticultural Society of Nigeria was founded 35 years ago. The Society brings together scientists, policy makers, farmers, producers, marketers and other stakeholders who are concerned with improvements in production practices, availability of fruits, vegetables, spices, medicinal and floricultural plants. This Conference will feature recent advances and innovations in all areas of horticulture. ABSTRACTS/PAPERS Abstracts are invited for proposed oral and poster presentations in the following subthematic areas: Agronomy and indigenous knowledge systems in horticulture Post harvest technology in horticulture Floriculture and landscaping for environmental management Genetic resource management and biotechnology Crop protection in horticulture Horticulture in human health health and nutrition Socio-economic issues in horticulture Abstracts should be between 200 and 300 words with not more than five keywords. Full paper should include an abstract (300 words max), a brief Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion and full list of References.
